Stainless steel <Shudder> eats the flesh right off of me. I can wear 18k gold, only certain ones, when it is cold out and I do not get sweaty at all. Just not worth it. I wear pearls, labradorite and other gemstones and usually just make my own.
When handling metal feeders such as washing several at a time, I wear gloves.
