[CHICKENS-101] Re: hatching chicken egg project...

 

The two hens are 12.4 oz and the roo is 15.3 oz. They are on the small size for Seramas. I know the fertility does get affected the smaller they are so that's a possible concern. Bugsy is feeling better. When he came to me a few months back he tended to be droopy and sleep a lot plus he had lice and had bald places, crusting on his skin and was molting. After letting him and the girls get some fresh air and sunshine since they have come to my place and being treated for parasites he's perking up and looking better and has started to do the rooster dance around them.  I'm thinking positive and hoping I don't have a fertility issue after he's better.
