Another part of the game... keeping the dogs out of the chicken eggs. How about blowing out a couple eggs like we did when we colored eggs in the olden days for Easter. Then filling the eggs with hot Tabasco type sauce. Probably don't need to blow out all the egg, just enough to syringe a good dose of hot sauce in. Then glue or tape up the egg and put it where the dogs will find it. Might have to do up a couple of them. I hear that works pretty well.

Thank you Denise and Rhonda. I have discovered also that my dogs are finding the eggs first and eating them. :-( That's part of the problem. I'm going to build some nesting boxes up high enough somewhere that the chickens can get to them but the dogs can't.
