I talked with a squirrel rehabber the other day and we got to talking about chickens, once I told her we had some she called them "maggot eating little dinosaurs". She mean't it with love 😘 LOL
Looking for feed that can be ready available is a challenge where we are. I worry a lot during hurricane season. Have an evacuation plan set up for all our pets, it's the food issue. I need to be able to get it easily.

Look past the Dumor and check out the Sunshine stuff. It's not much more, only a dollar or two, and is better feed. Then give them leftovers to make up the meat protein. All this "vegetarian" chicken feed is strictly social influence, give them a piece of meat and watch what happens. Vicious little dinosaurs.Got flies?
