My neighbor Terry called and asked if I had any roosters to get rid of. I was apprehensive the last time he called looking for unwanted or butchering roosters unknown to me till afterwards they where used in a live trap for mountain lions or coyotes. I wasn't real happy. But at the same time they were killing AJ's goats and had to be removed. They were only a mile away. Didn't want them here either. So they went to a good cause. So I was pleased that today we was looking for a trade. 2-3 of my year old roos to keep as breeding roos. I got 7 black and white polish chicks and 5 what he thinks are white sultan chicks. There where some eggs he hatched from peggys place. Peggy mixed up the eggs and he had no idea what he was hatching lol. Hoping the pics come out.
So now I have ar seperate chick pens in the house and 1 holding pen outside besides the 30 in the coop.
