Re: [CHICKENS-101] monster chicks advice

It was 103 in the shade here. Did all the waters and ice. Am going back out in a little bit to do them all over again. My helper filled the 3.5 gallon waters full so I am going to have to go to the dr again tomorrow for my neck, back, and knees. I found one gallon waters to replace them. I had to get a shot in my back today. (It hurts too, awful! The neck and knee are a 1000 times worse.)

104 right now in Conyers.  I just refilled water jars with cold water and gave them heads of cold lettuce to peck on.  Several pullets were panting.  They are in the shade but I am thinking of letting them out to free range during the day.  Thinking they will know how to find cool spots in the yard.   I don't like it either!                        Susan
