[CHICKENS-101] Re: Newly hatched chick falling to it's side

Baby chick is still alive and will drink some and peck at the food some. Still going sideways but staying upright a little longer. He/she is a fighter! Chirps good. I have 2 people that are wanting to buy guines from me if these hatch out and I need to replenish my guinea numbers as I'm now down to just 3. A couple of years ago the stupid birds sat on top of the barn roof while we had freezing rain then snow. They actually had icicles on them. I couldn't believe they didn't immediately die. However, their legs had frozen and the legs broke off at the upper joint. I lost 6 then. They easily could have gone in the barn & we had a heat lamp on the water in there to keep it from completely freezing.
