Sounds like Sandy is a Great Roo!

Our "DOC" is a good caretaker also, but now that we have the YOUNGSTER in the brood he is a bit Moody to say the least! LOL

I know what you mean about craigslist! I am always a little skeptical about what the people's intentions are reguarding Roos. I just want him to go to a good home, even if he is not my favorite, I raised him from a chick and you just want them treated well.

Again...anybody from east texas around Gilmer, Gladewater, Longview or Diana would be close enough if you are interested.

I've noticed that some boys just need to be separated from the troops because otherwise that just makes everyone's life a misery.

We have four boys: Blondie is in charge, Ambrose is the bullyboy, Cheepers is the whiner, and Sandy loves & is loved by all the girls. As much as I like Blondie he is not the breed I'm trying to raise and I'm hesitant about adding his bloodline to the group.
Ambrose has all the characteristics that the judges love except I feel he's too aggressive.
Cheepers also looks great but he's a whiney little thing (you're a big boy now. you shouldn't be trying to get under moma when the other boys pick on you.).
Where ever Sandy goes, the girls follow after him. He's calm, likes to cuddle the girls, and is excellent at making dust bowls for everyone to wiggle about in. you can see by my descriptions who I'm leaning toward.
I have a rabbit cage to put bullyboy in periodically for a time out. it seems to work for a week or so, before he's back at his old behaviors again. what to do?
No one is old enough to have his spurs yet so no one has been injured in their squabbling. but I know it's only a matter of time. Although we've been told to just advertise on Craigslist to rehome them, one has to keep to mind that the responder may just be looking for an easy meal and not a cock for their hens. just thoughts to keep in mind.
