104 right now in Conyers. I just refilled water jars with cold water and gave them heads of cold lettuce to peck on. Several pullets were panting. They are in the shade but I am thinking of letting them out to free range during the day. Thinking they will know how to find cool spots in the yard. I don't like it either! Susan

I am on my way out to fill water dishes and freezer bags with ice for the silkies. It's horrible here and dry as a bone.
PS Levaquin, face/exposed skin, and sun do not get along. I am wearing hats and long sleeves.
