[CHICKENS-101] What is an acceptable loss?

I know with all baby chicks there are expected losses. But how big of a number omg what am I doing wrong. I forgot last night with everything going on to turn the brooder light back on. I turned off during the day because where they are at can get 100+. So I turn it on during the night and off during the day. Unfortunately I lost a peafowl chick. Got squished I think. It was pretty flat. They have plenty of water and dumor all breed chick starter/ grower. The one that's ok for turkeys geese chickens. I check the chicks 5-7 times a day checking water and feed and making sure everyones alright. I fed and water and turned on their light. I went back about an hour later to ensure the light wasn't up to high and we lost another chick. Either a peafowl or turkey.
I know losses come with chicks things happen. But dang it just gets me all upset when this happens. Out of like 26 birds that got shipped 1 got flattened in the delivery and 2 have died today.
