Mandy I am sorry to hear about your guinea.  For some reason the littlest dog I have Missy - a little poodle like to bother the hens.  I will not let her around them as I fear for her not the hens.  The last time one of the dogs went to investigate them, the hens went for the dog. He is 2yrs. old, so still young. He has been fine with my goats but not poultry. He is now being kept in a pen. He was taken on a walk on leash around the farm this morning & he lunged for a rooster. I pulled on the collar *hard* and yelled NO. I figured me & hubby would do this for a while and see if we can make him understand the poultry are off his dinner menu. I'm considering a shock collar too (though not sure what brand to get). Any other ideas? Training books, videos? I would really like for him to work out. Thanks. Mandy
