[CHICKENS-101] Heat questions

 

It was 108 here yesterday. Felt so bad for the girls. I went and sprayed down the run and several laid on their sides to cool off after I did. Had put bananas in the fridge earlier in the day and gave them to them as a cool treat. What other advice do you have to cool the girls?

Second question....eggs. They were really hot when I pulled them. Are they ok to eat? What about the eggs that are being sat on? One. Is due to hatch this weekend. 5 are only 6days old so have 2more weeks. Do they have a chance of developing? Thanks. Lori
