I was not scolding you nor did I write that you said you fed medicated feed all the time. I posted what I have learned from my 50+ years of raising chickens too and what is documented for feeding. Medicated feed is a preventative measure and chicks can and do get cocci on medicated feed. Feeding medicated feed will not clear up a case of cocci and should not be fed while birds are getting cocci med in their water. Doing both can kill chicks in short measure by damaging their kidneys.
There are people here that are new to raising chickens; my concern is that they would rely on medicated feed to clear up coccidiosis and/or feed medicated feed while administering medication in their chicks water. I am sorry for offending you.

HI! Never said I feed medicated feed all the time. In fact I never use it to raise chicks. ALSO..it is not necessarily just a preventative medication. I am NOT a newbie with birds of any kind. In fact over 50+ years professional experience. I take offense of your scolding...signing off. Thanks!!
