Re: [CHICKENS-101] Is it time for Rooster to go?

Repeating what's already been said--for emphasis!

We lived for several months with sticks kept at each door (barn and house) to deal with a young roo who kept attacking us. (Fortunately hubby was even more upset about the attacks than I was, so I didn't have your difficulty... In fact hubby insisted on being the one to administer, er, instantaneous lead poisoning!) I'll have to say our hens didn't seem to suffer, although one did lose feathers off her back and wing-shoulders (she still hasn't molted, so she looks pretty tatty, but seems healthy and contented). But with us--he was savage, and sneaky with it, too.

Get rid of him however works best. He's a danger.
