Congratulations on having eggs incubating for cream legbars! As long as our dinosaur chicken birds have an animal and plant based feed (I prefer to not feed GMO) I think they do well on most non GMO and organic feeds (and non organic).

W my chicks still a week and a half away I've been following this conversation... Haven't bought my starter feed yet and now I'm leaning toward NatureWise, which is supposed to boost the immune system w/o medication. Also like the idea of not putting antibiotics into my compost.Medicated feed is a preventative measure and chicks can and do get cocci on medicated feed. Feeding medicated feed will not clear up a case of cocci and should not be fed while birds are getting cocci med in their water. Doing both can kill chicks in short measure by damaging their kidneys.Cathryn rainbowsilkiesTM in Michigan
