I would not only get rid of the rooster, I would put the husband on notice, too. Your husband should be supporting you, not belittling or undermining you. Mine is on one-year contracts, renewable each year on our anniversary. If he isn't up to par, I leave and he has to keep the kids. Our anniversary is in early September, and August is a major suck-up month. We will celebrate out 32nd anniversary this year. (Maybe.)Di
