They will get fat, then die when their heart cannot keep up with their size and weight. Plus you have to use antibiotics to prevent infection before and after. Good luck. It is a hard to do surgery for vets, much less a lay person with no experience. You have to get all of kidneys while avoiding the other organs and major veins.

I dont raise capons because I believe it causes unnecessary pain, it's a lot of work for too little reward.
