[CHICKENS-101] Re: Breeding

I'm planning on breeding partridge plymouth rock bantams. They tend to go broody. I have a cage and house already for my breeding pair (when I get them). I was then thinking of removing the rooster to allow the hen to take care of the eggs. Then I'll take the chicks and put them in a brooder till they can go back outside with their mother. I'll just separate the pair I want to breed. Is this an acceptable way to carry this out?
