In case anyone is curious, here's the story. As you remember I thought the Roo was too aggressive and asked you all for advice. I shared some of your replies with DH. DH then told me that a neighbour was stopping by because the friend wanted some fertile eggs. This friend also collects any unwanted chickens as he has a need for them. So...friend came by on Saturday, got eggs and a rooster, I did not even have to catch Roo. DH got out of the dog house since I discovered he wanted to keep the rooster because he was shopping for an incubator which I would love as a surprise. In addition, he talked to a friend about getting fertile eggs. I have to admit that it is humorous for a person(me), who handles two 1500 pound stallions and who has hunted(and dined on) deer and bear to absolutely refuse to deal with a
7 pound fowl.
Thanks for your help group..
Liz
