Definitely time for him to go! I only have a rooster because my girls free range and he is better at watching out for hawks and keeping them safe. The one I have now is nice unless you try to mess with him while he is roosting... get too close and he will try to peck you. I swat back at him but if he ever does anything more aggressive then he is gone! There are too many nice roos out there to deal with a mean one!
