LOL! Rhonda, I wish you had your chicks on video too. I do the same with dirt/soil and believe that the dirt exposure so early in life helps build resistance to mareks.

Once in a while there's the bonanza of a bug, grub, or worm. I shall always regret that I didn't get it on video, when the half-grown chicks found an earthworm--two chicks got hold of the worm, one on each end, ran around a bit playing keep-away with the others, went into tug-of-war stance, at which point a third chick bit the worm in the middle--and the two on the ends fell over on their fluffy butts!
