Hi Marla and Thank you for the welcome.
My girls are starting to warm up to me. In fact, when I let them out of the coop, they are always near me when I do my yardwork. I keep them in the coop all day and when I get home I let them roam with my supervision. There's a lot of ferals in my neighborhood and a couple of possu m and racoon dens. I know they are nocturnal, but what if there's an off chance that they roam during the day.

Welcome Rania! I like your breeds. I started out with sexlinks, RIRs, barred rocks, easter eggers, and buff orps. After a little over a year I got rid of the sexlinks and RIRs. I love my orps. Aren't they the sweetest? Getting colorful eggs from the EEs is pretty fun.
What part of the world are you in? I'm in SE KS USA.
