I get a mineral blend (from a bird store-50 lbs.) that also has oyster shell
and I put it right in with their food. I get the all natural vitamins from
McMurray hatchery. Their Avia Boost I think it is and their Broiler Booster
are both good and I mix them. The Broiler Booster has biotin in it and I
believe it helps during molting season. The other is really good, kind of
smells like carob and turns the water brown, but it is excellent for keeping
them healthy and laying well (even in the harsh Idaho winters). Been using
these for over a decade and wouldn't change unless I heard something REALLY
bad about them, which I never have.
