Rania, Mix their feed, don't change it suddenly to layer, ok? I like a good quality 18% layer with animal protein in it. Oyster shell on the side in another dish.

Hi Bob, Thank you for the welcome.
My girls aren't producting yet, but I imagine they will be soon. I do have a
question regarding feeding. Right now they are still on started food. I've read
and was told by the farm that I purchased the girls from that to change their
food to laying food when they lay their first egg or when they turn 18 weeks
old. Since the Easter Eggers are two week younger than the Buff's would it be
safe/ok for me to keep them all on the start until the younger ones are 16 weeks
old?
