I want to thank you for your group.
I found the number of some people who deliver chicks all over CA and have ordered two 6-7 week old Buff Cochins. I think they are bantams, but not sure. Forgot to ask. Doesn't matter, they will be loved. I'll have them next Tues.
I'm sure my Polish will get a big kick out of the babies and welcome them into the fold.
I hope you all don't mind if I stick around with the group. I've been raising chickens since the 70's and then stopped for a while and then got my farm where I raised show bantams and then concentrated on the heavy breeds, but always had my little fancies like Polish, Silkies and Cochins.
I hope I can add to the group. Seems like there are a lot of good people here willing to help others and I like that.
