Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: temps took a nose dive

We've had freezes too but have had several beautiful warm days and several days of 50's. Stocked up on 25 more bales of big pine flake bedding to get down tomorrow in the barns to make them warmer; was down to 6.  Family, Farm and Home put half a pallet in the truck bed with their fork lift. Surprise! The guys decided to unload them and put the in the barns and pens for me.  I'll have 30 bales of bedding down by evening tomorrow.

We've had freezes every night now for about 2 weeks & cool days. Most of the poultry doesn't mind, we've been feeding extra since the end of Sept. gearing up for the cold. I on the other hand hate the cold!
