What are you feeding them? Growing feathers and laying eggs take protein and a bit extra nutrients. Molting usually takes a couple of months too. My silkies are laying like crazy right now.

Mine haven't laid in two months. Yes they were molting but have all full feathers now. They are 20 months old so how much longer do I have to buy store eggs?
