No idea--but I'd be willing to bet that the chances of salmonella are far less with them than with CAFO (concentrated animal feeding operation) pork. The stress of overcrowding, shipping, filth (both from the CAFO manure situation and the less-than-sanitary mega-slaughterhouses), etc, predispose CAFO pork, beef (over-feeding of corn and no grass/hay also a cause here), and poultry to salmonella.
