We've had freezes every night now for about 2 weeks & cool days. Most of the poultry doesn't mind, we've been feeding extra since the end of Sept. gearing up for the cold. I on the other hand hate the cold!

The forecasted 50's are now 45 and yesterday they changed the forecast mid day. :(  I was so tired by the time I came in last night I could not lift bales of bedding to put them in the pens. My chickens and I are not happy. Did get the large turnips up and the rest of the potatoes. They had better hurry up and finish growing! Right now they are too small to feed to my chickens.
