If a hen gets off her eggs for a short time to go eat and the eggs get cool to the tough, will the eggs still hatch?
The eggs have been in the nest about one week. I have been feeding and watering the hen while she is sitting on the eggs. I put the food and water within reach so she doesn't have to leave the nest. But this morning she left the nest and when I noticed it, the eggs were already cool to the touch. After a few minutes more, she came back to the nest and she is now sitting on the eggs again.
