These wild hogs are a real problem - very destructive critters and tear
everything up and have litters of 6-12 several times a year. But they are
really, really tasty! In fact, they taste like pork used to taste before
they bred all the flavor out.

Can you imagine driving 85mph next to a sounder of hogs in the dark? We
have wild hogs in Michigan; never seen one though. I bought a ham a week ago
and the meat was soft, not at all like a cured ham should be. I'd like 2 or
3 of those hogs in my freezers.
Does anyone know if the feral hogs test salmonella free?
