Perhaps this particular item wouldn't apply directly to most of us, but IMHO we do need to keep abreast of what AR groups like HSUS and PETA are scheming, in collusion with the politicians we are currently saddled with.  Would you have liked to be kept in the dark about, say, the NAIS?
