Gina, Maybe members wanted to make their money order or check out to Peggy. There are members, (plural), who would have made donations right away and offered too. At school when we participated in donations for sick students we made the checks out the parents and or students. When donations were being solicited for an adult in our community, who had a terminal illness, and couldn't pay their medical treatments, we made our money orders and checks out to the party who was sick, and mailed it to them. Maybe the members on 101 want to mail their gifts to the sick woman rather than through a third party. It makes sense, doesn't accuse anyone of anything, and is standard protocol.

I am so sorry Jeannette. Some people just don't have a life.
