Re: [CHICKENS-101] Abilene coop 145 gram egg

 

I accidentally set some last December,  wasn't home when they pipped.  The top chick made it half way around.  Both chicks died. :(  If you were there when they were hatching, they'd make it with help.

            We have had some whoppers this year, too.  Easily twice as big as a normal egg.  Inside, two full sized yolks………so two eggs in one shell. 
 
            I have been tempted to try to incubate one and see what happens.  I am thinking of the movie, Twins with Arnold Schwarznegger and Danny Devito…..LOL!
