[CHICKENS-101] Re: Crowing Hen

Might it have been a mockingbird? They can imitate anything from the
most beautiful thrush warbling to the creak of a rusty gate; a lusty
rooster's crow, learned from your neighbor's cockbird, and then repeated
in your yard, could be the answer.

I'm fascinated that a hen might have decided to announce her dominant
status with a crow, however. Who knew?? I've had tropical fish who would
switch sexes, but a bird...?
