I may be completely wrong here but i think we have a mis-comunication between us (lol) ..... as i was referring to the Original post about chicken book and end results were to buy a kindle to read it /// not the one about Amazon's books ...........

Some books are free only for a day or 2 at a time.
Some people gather a list of free books and shares them with other people, or posts a list on their blog.
I have about a thousand books on my kindle and most of those are free. Some fiction but most are homesteading type books.
