It was really dark wasn't it? Creepy and spooky! Thank heavens the power has not went off. I have chicks.

It was close to 70 here in Niles MI today! My son had to go to Chicago for an emergency service call. Got a text from him that there were tornado sighting, wind was vicious,, and that he was parked under a bridge to avoid hail damage to the truck.
That weather has hit here. Lights have been flicking off and on so am praying that the power doesn't go off. Creepy when 3p.m. is as dark as 7p.m.

Amazing that it is so warm in MI the middle of November. I have been using every warm day to play catch up around the barns and to get ready for winter. I ordered clear, heavy duty tarps for the back barn garage doors to block wind but allow open doors on sunny winter days, and for around the egg layer pen. Hope my tarps hurry up and get here. Wish it wasn't rainy and windy, still have quite a bit to do, and late winter apple trees to check out. Still cleaning chick barns and pens a few half barrels at a time each day. I'm having a hard time finding people who want to work and do things the way I need them done. Welfare in MI has spoiled the people without jobs, no one seems to want to work. Hoping the teens that were at the rental yesterday are still there and want to make cash emptying barrels.Cathryn rainbowsilkiesTM in Michigan
