You can download the PC desktop or laptop version if Kindle for free. I did long ago, and also have trouble-free downloading of their books (both their free ones and for $ ones) ever since.

It was safe to click the book on here .... but the Kicker was : you had to buy their high price Kindle in order to read the book (lol) it's probably a beginner's book .
