I wish you could send some rain over here too! Everything is so dry and dead. We didn't even plant a garden last year because water was so scarce and so expensive. This year is looking to be worse. We're actually thinking of leaving our beautiful place and moving north, or at least somewhere where there's more water. I'm dreading that, but I also dread seeing everything die.
If we are in 'end times', I sure wish they'd hurry up and end! Hee!

Since the ground is thawed for now, we just buried Sir Arthur, the
little Serama boy. If and when I get any more Seramas, I will fix their
cage like I do with the little starting chicks and ducklings - put an
electric heating pad on half the floor, nicely wrapped, so that if they
chill, they can go to the warm area. And if it gets too warm, they can
go to the non-heated part to cool off and/or eat and drink. Hopefully,
if the house gets cold again, the Seramas will have a warm spot to
snuggle in.
