Re: [CHICKENS-101] Lettuce

I buy romaine lettuce and give it to my small flock all winter. In the summer they get dandelions, grass and other greens that grow in my yard.

I splurged and spent a buck yesterday on a head of lettuce. Arriving
back home, I tore off a number of leaves and then them into smaller
chunks. Heaved them over the fence and the chickens were delighted
with thier unexpected treat. Someone else mentioned hanging a head of
cabbage in the coop, but this works for me.
