So what kind is he? To me, he is a normal rooster, but I don't know the name. His girlfriend is on the left. I don't know what she is either.

Ah!  THERE he is! Thanks, Pete. What a lovely red rooster. I once had a roo similar to this...his name was Rueben. We called him "Rueben, red Rueben". He was a great rooster.
