Could imagine how rough it would be to be one hen in thirty thousand.  It'd be a bummer to be anywhere but the top few of the pecking order.

With all the loop holes in organic regulations, the huge chain store "organic" eggs are produced by 30,000 hens in one building and a tiny hole in the wall for "access" to the outdoors into a tiny wire pen.
I wonder how many hens actually find the hole and get outside even one time?
