Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: Little White hen in the corner and OT

Thank you Sue. I didn't realize you were a cardiac and intensive care nurse.  No wonder you are so smart; you have to be  a genius to learn what you need to know to do what you did.  It's also a very high stress career with horribly long hours. I have a friend who works in those areas.
I recorded on the heart monitor off and on for the last 4 hours and there are no heart issues going on that they could see.  The company sent it over to my dr about an hour ago.  You are right about going to dr, too many people wait then die from a heart attack. So far my heart is cured, I left U of M off all heart medications the end of June.  No high blood pressure, no problems or blockages, et.. only severe a fib.  Just tired from the all the a fib and surgical procedures.  No other health issues with circulation or heart. The stretched areas, scar tissue, leaking valves, et... are resolving with the a fib being gone and the weight caused by the meds coming off. I'll be off the blood thinner next and another U of M success statistic!  Won't be soon enough for me and silkies.  I want to remodel my set up in the cattle barn next!  :)
Off to sitting up with pillows and blankets.  Thank you so much for your care and concern.

If you have acid reflux, the worst thing you can do is to ingest vinegar, it's an acid.

Onions, chocolate, mint, carbonated beverages, caffeine (among many other things) can all cause the stomach sphincter to relax and cause reflux.

Cathryn, since you've had heart issues, if you're not getting relief from antacids, you need to see your physician asap. What appears to be gastric in nature, can often be cardiac issues.

Go to the doc.
