Hardware cloth around the bottom of the coop in a L and around their fencing. Bait stations a bit away from the coop. I use peanut butter because it has a strong scent and will attract the mice away from my barns to eat the poison. You can use live traps for squirrels. Just make sure you wire the nut/nuts in on the bait trip.

So now I have the predators under control, the hens cry constantly when mice and squirels are around. What is best way to control these little rodents?
