I had a letter from Nutrene that I posted on this group a veyr long time ago that stated that in other countries they are the same, but not in the USA. Purina/Land O Lakes has Chinese facotires to make their poultry ingredients, they bring them here, and mix their feed here. Nurtena is part of the huge conglomerate whether they are listed as part of it in the US or not. I will not use anything from a company that is part of their huge conglomerate. If others want to that is their business. Nutrena is part of putrina aka Land O Lakes. Whether the topic has been hashed or rehashed is irrelevant, I emailed, received a letter/email back, know what it said, posted it here years ago, and it is part and parcel.

This has been hashed and rehashed way too many times here.
They are in fact separate entities here. I have both as customers.
I can take you to both right here in the county I live in. Neither mill has a thing to do with the other.
Nutrena feeds come from the Cargill mill in Wooster.
Purina Feeds come from the LandOLakes mill in Orrville.
You won't find any Nutrena feed coming from the LandOLakes/Purina mill, nor will you find Purina feed coming from the Cargill/Nutrena mill. That being said, I know where they're both made and I don't/won't use any Purina poultry feeds. I do however, sometimes use a medicated chick starter from Nutrena. I use a local mill for all my layer feed.
