My farm is in the middle of a city. Country and woods out back, and city in the front. The city grew up around the farm. H's tavern across the street, cater corner, my work 2-3 miles from the house and less from the PO.

I have a terrific mail man but his route is almost all gravel road's. You must be on a paved road. I usuallyget a call around 7 am if it is eggs and a little later for chicks. I think they just cant take the noise.:-)
