Re: [CHICKENS-101] Re: I cooked Hanibelle & Mean rooster

lol Oh yeah, DH's mom has been here the week before I had my son and right after I did, and my oldest loves to go to the barn and show off the critters, esp the new mini filly. Well he took his Nana down there (who is deathly afraid of ANYTHING with feathers, and claims that even if a rooster wouldn't touch another soul, as soon as she turns her back they'll nail her), and she was getting jumpy cause Ferb the reprieved barn rooster was following us, and said something about him not getting her (he just follows like a dog most of the time), and my oldest thought it was funny to herd him towards her and watch her run, jump out the way, and generally get nervous. LOL My oldest is just 5 and not scared of them, (actually I don't think he's scared of any animals, lol), and I guess he thought it was funny to see an adult scared of the chickens, so played it up. LOL

Teresa that's hilarious! The orneriest kid here is also the one most afraid of chickens. So it's payback time to the other kids and we don't even have any mean ones in general population. Bad boy is housed off to the side and only I go in the pen anymore.
