[CHICKENS-101] Re: Introducing new members

Hi Rebecca, This is a tough question. I mean it's a tough to answer, the question is simple enough. Young chickens are in the process of establishing a pecking order and size usually matters. The smaller chicks can be easily hurt. Some flolks have had gool luck building a 'bolt hole' in the coop. a place the smaller chicks can go but the larger ones can't. It can be as simple as a board propped up on bricks.
Once the bables grow a bit the probem will go away.

I've already decided who is going to freezer camp (yes, that means you Mr Cheepers (too noisy) and you Scrapper (you can guess)). Rather than crying in my milk, I'll be going to the feedstore at the end of the month to get my order in for some pullets. (was thinking about a few more Americaunas & some Barred Rocks)
