That is not normal behavior for a hen. I'd listen to her chest after checking her over for mites and lice. Are her breathing sounds clear of any other noises? Look at her vent- is it clean, skin color -nice and healthy with no red veins or puffed up feather follicles, or bite marks from red mites? Nostrils called nares and her cleft on the inside roof of her mouth- are they clean and open? Is the inside of her mouth nice and healthy pink? Are eyes clear and free from bubbles?
It is just not normal for her not to roost with the rest of the flock.
Look for black specs on the roost perches (red mite droppings) and check around look at droppings too.
