I'm confused about Olive Eggers, I keep reading that they are 'rare' — however, more than 25 % of my flock are Ameracaunas / Easter Eggers. The rest splits between layers of white, tinted and a slew of tan / brown colored eggs. With cross breeding, I'm getting a ton of olive eggs without even trying - brown over blue allele crosses. I'm guessing the continuing the crosses will increase the color shift and eventually normalize it, correct? I do think that they are cool, as are the minty green eggs that are paler than not blue/white crosses.

I can't believe that they sell the olive eggers for more money.  I have plenty I could sell
for half that.
